The Bra Guru · Breast Health Educator · RN
Hello Beautiful.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
For many years, I struggled with what I saw reflected back at me. My relationship with my body was shaped by comparison, self-criticism, and unrealistic expectations — and I know now that I wasn’t alone. Like so many women, I learned early how to be hard on myself, especially when it came to my appearance.
Meet Yolande
Creativity was always my refuge. I began sewing at a young age, learning how fabric, structure, and fit could subtly transform posture, presence, and confidence. As a teenager, I apprenticed with a fashion designer, where I developed a deep appreciation for construction and proportion — and for garments that honor the body rather than fight it. That early foundation continues to inform how I approach bra fitting today.
Years later, a professional bra fitting became a quiet turning point for me. Feeling properly supported shifted something deep — my posture softened, my silhouette aligned, and I felt more at ease in my body. That experience revealed a truth I carry into my work: proper support isn’t about perfection, it’s about care.
Since 2019, I have been professionally bra fitting women across all stages of life, including those navigating breast cancer, post-mastectomy changes, reconstruction, and recovery. I approach every fitting without judgment, understanding that each body carries its own history. For many women, the fitting room is an intimate and vulnerable space — my role is to make it one of safety, dignity, and respect.
In 2014, I became a registered nurse, deepening my understanding of anatomy, healing, and the emotional relationship women have with their bodies. Today, I blend clinical knowledge with my background in sewing, fashion, and bra fitting — bringing together science, structure, and compassion in a way that feels both informed and human.
As Yolande Daniel — The Bra Guru, Breast Health Educator, RN, I believe bras are more than garments. They are tools for comfort, alignment, confidence, and self-trust. When a woman feels supported — truly supported — it changes how she stands, how she moves, and how she shows up in the world.
My work is an invitation: to soften into support, to release old stories, and to feel at home in your body again.
